There are tasks that need to be done. It always seems like laundry and other tasks need to be done. It is never ending. That is not what I thought it would be like, to be a parent. Having piles and multiple to do lists, is not what I want. However, I know I have to tackle it. I know I have to get the work done. This is just the price I have to pay to get all the tasks accomplished that I want to accomplish.
Having too many items around is bothersome. There are times when parents need a break. That is why I have other people help me when needed. I have to pay for the help, but I do get the help. It is a trade off. I get to spend more time with my kids instead of toiling away at some menial tasks.
I have to figure out ways of witling down my piles. I like to donate items and throw away items we no longer use. Getting smart about how things are done, is what I am working on. I am not perfect. My kids and I will benefit if I can conquer my piles. I actually feel a sense of accomplishment.
