It is bliss when everything works out. My kids did their homework today. They played together for hours on the trampoline. They ate their dinners. The listened to me, when I needed help. How did I do this? I listened to them. I helped them when they asked. I communicated with them. I also played with them when asked. I paid attention to them. We worked together as a team. We were all together and it was great.
I don’t want to brag. This is not how it usually goes. I have to be conscious about what I am doing. I have to be mindful about what I am doing. There are times when I am not as mindful as I should be. That is when it all goes south. I am not perfect. No parent is. It is better if we work together. It starts with the parents who are the first leaders or mentors to their children. There is so much happening, when you are a parent. I try not to miss the times we have together. They get the time together with friends. When we are all together, I make sure they know how much they mean to me and to stop what I am doing an pay attention.
