Ride it Out

We had a tornado warning. The kids were upstairs, I called them downstairs. They knew I was serious. They complied. I did not want them to get upset. I remained calm. My daughter saw the warning on her phone for the area.

We sat downstairs together. No one said anything. We were quite and waiting for the storm to pass. We had plans to today. Things to do. No time for the storm. We went about planning for our adventures.

We did not want that storm to deter us from our plans. I wanted to show my kids that there may be difficulties in life. However, you can keep calm and ride it out and then go about your day. You don’t have to worry about the storms. They will come. We can ride them out and move on with our plans.
