What a surprise that our weather took a turn for the worst. It is so cold outside, I could store all of my groceries and they would last for a week. The kids got to stay at home today, due to the cold weather.
They were thrilled. They spend some time outside building an igloo. They did not want to go sledding today. They just wanted to build an igloo. They spend some time working together to make their icy home.
They stayed out as long as reasonably possible. They want from the igloo to the nice warm house. I made hot cocoa to warm up their cold bodies. Times like these can be an opportunity to have a great memory. I am not letting this grow cold. The igloo may be up for a week due to the deep freeze, but our memories will last forever.
