Simple times are the best. We don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy each others company. My daughter talked about how she preferred to talk to her brother than play something quietly by herself. I asked her to talk to her brother and see if he wanted to spend some time with her today.
She did not ask him. She is working on something else. She is enjoying the simple pleasures of being a kid. She is playing with her sister. They are telling stories and making up things. This is the best time. It is so simple but not easy. They had to learn to do this themselves, as I am not always able to spend time with them. I do make it a point to read to them when I can.
This something I enjoy doing. It is simple to read to them. They get to learn something and hear how stories could be read or acted out with emotion and spend time with Mom. It is my simple plan for nurturing them and fostering their education.
