I woke up this morning and realized I was another year older. I told my kids how special they were to me. I told them that they were the best presents ever. They were truly appreciative of my sentiments. I always tell them that. It may not get old for them, however it my be getting a little stale. I know I need to find other ways to show how I feel about my kids. They are special to me. I have to think of creative ways to let them know.
I have some thoughts. Maybe spend some one on one time with them. Find out what they want to do for a day and do all of the things they love. For kids spending my time with them, could be the best gift to them. I know something has to change. It may work for now. They are changing and growing. What once worked in the past may not always work in the future.
