We celebrated a birthday today. My daughter was looking forward to the day. She was so happy when she woke up this morning. She could not wait for the day to start. Now it is much later. Another day is in the bag. She could not wait to open her gifts. Wanting to teach her patience, I did not let her open all of her gifts. Her father let her open some gifts. She was expecting to open more gifts. She knows she has more coming. There are times when we anticipate more in ours lives. Sometimes, we are disappointed.
There are times when we are pleasantly surprised. There are other times when we plan ahead and everything is amazing. Then I feel like everything is in the bag. This is a piece of cake. Everything goes well. When everything does not go well, we feel like we let everything go. It is cool to have everything go well. When you are the parent you want to plan everything ahead of time. If you do not plan, you end up worrying. As a parent you can plan a lot. However, there are some things that will not be in the bag. It may not be easy. You can turn most things around.
