Today it was very cold in the morning. The roads were not plowed. I decided to work at home. I knew I was needed at home. My son went to school, but went home sick. He told the nurse that he was not feeling well.
My husband got the call. He went and picked up our son. Then he took him to the doctor. My son needed some medication. I picked up the medication. I thought that the roads would be too difficult to navigate today. I was wrong. The streets were clear this afternoon and the sun came out. We are going to get more snow this evening. I get to stay home tomorrow.
My son was glad that he got to stay at home. I am glad I was here. I got a lot done on my lunch. My kids were happy that I got to stay at home. I am happy I was able to stay at home. To be at home with the family is awesome. There are people who get to stay at home with their kids. That would be nice to do full time. However, for now I am happy to be at home when I can, for my kids when I can be at home.
