As I am trying to wind down after a busy morning. I hear my dog whimpering in her corner. She just went out for a walk. I don’t understand why she is whimpering.
When people whimper it is hard to discern why. Are they doing something they don’t want to do? Are they unhappy? Are they just doing it to get attention? My kids do that sometimes.
I can hear my dog whimpering louder now. She is wagging her tail. She just wanted me to acknowledge her. I think people may be the same way.
People, especially kids may want some extra attention when they are hurting. Sometimes, it comes out in ways that are unexpected. At other times they may whimper.
I try to head off the whimpering as much as possible. It may be difficult to find the balance between everything else and paying attention to the kids.
