What people tell me I am great at is creating artwork, party planning, dealing with children, and teaching. All of which I feel I could be paid to do. I am considering a career change. In examining what I like to do and what I am good at, I have narrowed it down to these areas. It took a little help from others and book called “Strength Finder 2.0,” Â to get in the ball park. Some people are able to get paid for what they love. My father, loved to do Carpentry. He enjoyed it and supported the family doing it for many years. Eventualy, my Mother ignited her passion for Nursing and took it up again, after I graduated from grade school. Determining what you want to do and what you are good at may be difficult for some. What I am sure we are all called to serve at a higher level. Some of us are ment to shake up the establishment and go out on our own. That is when it gets personal. What would they pay me to do? Could I make a living at doing what I love to do? Sometimes, it takes asking tough questions to flush out what we could get paid for. If you don’t ask for what you are worth, you many not get it. If you don’t know what you want to do, try volunteering or taking a class in something that sparks your interest.
