This is a busy season for us all. Before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here. I heard about a wonderful women today, who truly devoted her life to helping others. She wanted to hear, ” Well done, my good and faithful servant.” She was called home. She was only about 35 years old. She relayed a message to my friend. In turn that friend relayed that message to me. The message is: “Do what you said you were going to do.” I just got chills. Don’t let anything get in the way of your dreams and goals. Do what you set out to do. It is easy to lose sight of what our goals are. It is easy to get bogged down in the daily mundane tasks.
I want my kids to do what they say they are going to do. I want to show them that it is possible. Their dreams and goals can be achieved. I know my time here is short. I know there are some goals I want to achieve. I want to serve those who are in need. I can’t do everything, but I can do something. I can teach my kids by example. I can teach others what I have learned.
