Walk it off

When I got home, I made dinner. There was no one at home. I started it up. Everyone was called to eat. No one sat down to the table. My husband ate at the couch. We all went for a walk after dinner. That was our time together. I felt much better after eating. It lifted my mood. I tried something new today.

Every forty five minutes I got up and walked away from my computer. No matter what I was working on. I got up and walked away. That made a world of difference. There are times when I could re-set what was done and start fresh. This is the closest to what I can do right now. There are a obligations and needs to be met.

As a parent you have to take the time for you. A little walk, can help change perspective. Take the kids with you some time. Other times, leave them at home. Walking is great to do as a family. It is the quickest way to get refocused and energized. No matter what, walk it off.
