I love it when things just seem to fall into place. It almost seems natural or organic. If you are persistent and focused you can accomplish whatever you want. I want my kids to know that.
Part of the reason why I write every day is to send them messages that they can look back on when they are older. They will know what I was thinking. They will know what I wanted for them. They will see how important they were to me, even if they may not think it right now.
I am hoping that the time I spend with them is significant in shaping them, to be great leaders and citizens. I want them to know that they are meant for greatness. That does require some work. Everything can’t just fall into your lap. You have to reach out to other people and make connections. When it is meant to be, it will happen. Things will fall into place for them. They have to put forth the energy and effort. Then it will seem almost organic for them, too. They will understand what I wanted for them. They will come to believe that they have natural abilities to make things happen.
