So Many Questions

I just got home, and my daughter is asking me lots of questions. Being conscientious, I want to acknowledge my daughter. However, I am in a frenzy. I have lots to do this weekend. Being polite, I try to turn and answer her questions.

I have accomplished a lot today. My list of things to do is half way through. She reminds me of some events coming up. I just added some other tasks to do before I go to bed.

I am reminded in many talks that I listen to, to slow down and pay attention to the little ones, before it is too late. I agree. As soon as I am done with this, I am going to frost some cupcakes with them.

Thanks for the reminder little ones. Because, if I pay attention to your questions now, maybe you won’t have so many later on. If I show you respect, you will show me respect. If I act with love, you will act with love. It all begins with modeling the behavior I want in them. So, listen to those questions and respond with kindness.
