If there is one word I could use to describe my daughters, that would be daring. My girls watch me shoot videos online and emulate what I do. I am very conscious of what I do. I want my girls to have adventurous spirits.
I read a post about a relative of mine, that grew up in a time when girls were not supposed to do certain things. It was not acceptable for girls to learn to work with tools.
My girls have a lot of spunk. I want to create an environment here at home, that makes them believe they can do anything they want to accomplish. I want them to have a zest for life. I want them to have a great deal of curiosity and a sense of wonder and awe.
They will be women one day. I am totally aware that some men may have them as wives. Setting a good example as a wife and mother is part of the plan. Allowing them to be daring and bold is what I want for them. There may be times when the world will want to squash them. However, if they have a sense of daring in them, they may just forget about what others think and be themselves, the girls I wanted to raise.
